The internet world is a vast one, full of the good and the bad, and allowing us to explore a variety of different subjects, and watch and read a wide range of different content. The emergence of the internet celebrity has also dawned, with popular online platforms giving birth to such titles as ‘Influencers’ and ‘YouTubers’.

Yes, that’s right; people make a massive living sharing content on Instagram and YouTube. It’s a mad world, isn’t it? When it comes to YouTubers, there’s a huge amount of people who have found fame via the online video-sharing platform by covering a whole variety of topics. From gamers, who might be exploring casino games in ZA or sharing FIFA 20 tips, to health experts, YouTube’s content is comprehensive. Throw in the likes of Keyboard Cat and Hitler’s Downfall, and getting stuck down a YouTube wormhole is a real and relatable possibility.

With YouTubers becoming modern-day celebrities and pulling in massive crowds, we thought we’d highlight some of the more successful characters worth watching online. Of course, it’s entirely subjective, but there’s generally at least one YouTuber you’ll take to.

A friendly, warm presence, Sean McLoughlin initially rose to fame following a shout out by humongous YouTube star PewDiePie. Jake Paul and Jeffree Star might not enjoy his docuseries’, but other people do, in fact a whole 23 million of them.
