Toyota has premiered the new GR Yaris and it is super hot! The hot hatch has been developed by Toyota Gazoo Racing and Tommi Mäkinen Racing and is scheduled to launch globally in 2020!
The vehicle comes with an all-new platform and engine, a new suspension system as well a permanent all-wheel-drive system.
Keeping with the sporty past, the GR Yaris has three doors, a lowered roof, a wide front grille, and a rear spoiler. You also get 18-inch alloys.
To get you going, you get a 3 cylinder turbocharged engine with 192 kW and 360 Nm of torque. This is accessed through a 6-speed manual gearbox. 0 to 100 km/h can be done in 5.5 seconds with a top speed of 230 km/h.

Toyota South Africa has not mentioned if we will be getting the Toyota GR Yaris, but we can sure dream!
