The world’s biggest motoring show is back!

Top Gear Season 25 sees Matt LeBlanc (best known for his role as Joey Tribbiani on the iconic NBC series Friends), Chris Harris (former professional race car driver), Rory Reid (award winning motoring journalist) and The Stig return to your screens, with guest appearances from Sabine Schmitz  and Eddie Jordan.

During six hour-long episodes, watch the team tackling the big issues: building the world’s fastest tractor, tackling America’s Wild West in shiny new V8 sports cars, attempting to land a NASA research plane in America’s ultimate muscle car, and much more.

Season 25 was filmed in locations including Japan, USA, Portugal,  Italy and just outside of Guildford.

As BBC Worldwide’s most popular show in South Africa – fans can expect the latest season to deliver Top Gear’s trademark array of  stunning photography, state-of-the-art supercars and celebrity guests.

Premiering on, Wednesday 28 February 2018, from 8pm on BBC Brit (DStv Channel 120)

In the first episode of the all-new series, Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris and Rory Reid head to America’s Wild West to test out three new V8 sports cars: the McLaren 570GT, Jaguar F-Type SVR and a very powerful Ford Mustang. Journeying across beautiful Utah, the boys attempt to outrun the law on a moonshine run, try their hand at NASCAR, and visit the fastest racetrack in the world. Rob Brydon is this week’s studio guest, the British comedian attempting to set a blistering time in the Reasonably Fast Car.

Ep 1 fun facts: The dirt track they drove up at the  beginning of the episode  was made by the US  government to look for uranium to make  nuclear bombs. The area where all the canyons are at the  start of the film is called Canyonlands,  it’s also where Thelma and Louise drove off a cliff  in the movie of the same name and where Indiana Jones  was shot (the start of The Last Crusade). Hollywood loves Utah.
