With 2025 having arrived, TECNO and itel anticipate an exciting year ahead in South Africa, with new tech innovations, purposeful partnerships, and continued engagement and interaction with loyal fans
TECNO and itel, smart technology brands renowned for their commitment to delivering quality and affordability, anticipate an exciting year ahead for their goings-on in South Africa.
This follows a busy 2024 for both brands, which marked a transformative period for them, as they continued to expand their market presence, interacted with their fans, and introduced innovative devices that resonate with the diverse needs of South Africans.
New Tech and Impressive Innovations
One of the highlights for TECNO in South Africa in 2024 was the introduction of the SPARK 20 Series into the country. 2025 will prove to be no different with new smart devices earmarked for introduction into SA. While details of the specific models that are coming are not yet available, TECNO and itel look forward to introducing more devices that will make the lives of South Africans easier, more convenient, more connected and smarter, and adding to the already impressive range of available tech.
In addition, TECNO has already showcased innovation at CES 2025, which is currently taking place in Las Vegas, US. The brand is showcasing a new battery cover called Starry Optical Fiber. This cover for handheld devices including phones and tablets has hundreds of ultrathin optical fibres and mini-LEDs embedded in it to create a shimmering light show. While having no impact on the battery performance of devices, Starry Optical Fiber highlights TECNO’s Colour, Materials, and Finish (CMF) expertise, and if this is how 2025 is starting, we can’t wait to see what else comes from TECNO or itel during the rest of the year.
Purposeful Partnerships
Following on from involvement in events in 2024, including the CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire tournament, which TECNO was the official smartphone sponsor of, the Jammin 2 Soccer celebrity tournament, and the South African Music Awards (#SAMA30), TECNO and itel will continue to explore purposeful partnerships in 2025.
These will be with events, people, and other brands that South Africans are passionate about and support and will look to elevate and benefit all those involved. Working together to benefit South Africans and bring them more that they love!
Continuous Fan Engagement and Interaction
TECNO and itel held various online and offline campaigns, promotions, and competitions throughout 2024, to continuously interact with and reward their South African fans. This will be the same in 2025, so be on the lookout so you don’t miss out. Special prices will be available at the end of January on select TECNO phones, so keep an eye out for news on that.
Both brands are also keen to interact with their fans, to assist in solving challenges they may be facing, offer guidance and assistance, receive feedback and suggestions, and much more. Get in touch via TECNO’s Facebook page and itel’s Facebook page.
