Suzuki launches Special Editions of the Swift and Ignis

Suzuki Auto South Africa is celebrating its recent sales success and its 75 000 customers in South Africa with the introduction of Special Editions of the Swift and Ignis.

The latest additions toSuzuki launches Special Editions of the Swift and Ignis the Suzuki range, the Swift 1.2 GL Special Edition (or SE) and two new versions of the Ignis, the 1.2 GL SE and 1.2 GLX SE, are now available at Suzuki dealers nationwide.

“The Swift Special Edition and two Ignis Special Edition variants offer customers the chance to express their unique style and individuality,” says André Venter, divisional manager for sales and marketing at Suzuki Auto South Africa. “As exclusive versions of our top-selling models, we are confident that it will find favour with fans of the brand and the specific models alike.”

Designed to stand out

There is no mistaking the new SE versions for different specification levels, thanks to a raft of new accessories and luxury features.

On the Swift GL Special Edition, the list includes a set of unique decals, a blue rear roof spoiler and the addition of door visors and a door sill guard. Suzuki has also added the new European-style front grille with blue trim that has become a favourite amongst car converters.

Inside the Swift GL SE, Suzuki has also fitted with a touch screen infotainment system that is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Moving to the Ignis, Suzuki has opted to introduce two Special Edition models.

The first is a Suzuki Ignis 1.2 GL SE model, which features styling upgrades such as black door cladding, door visors, a rigid mud flap set, red garnish on the front grille and red side body decals.

The Ignis GLX SE includes all of the luxuries of the standard GLX model, but adds a white front grille surround and centre bar garnish and new fog lamp bezels. The styling is further enhanced with side decals in white and door visors as protection against rain and wind. The style upgrade is rounded off by a rear roof spoiler.

“We know that customers who opt for a Special Edition model like to stand out, so we have introduced the SE models in a choice of several colours. These are available in very limited numbers for each model,” says Venter.

In the Swift GL SE, buyers can opt for Arctic White and Silky Silver, both available in limited runs of 50 units. These same colours are available on the Ignis GL SE, but only in limited numbers of 25 units each.

Lastly, in the Ignis GLX SE, the first 50 customers can have their SE model in Tinsel Blue with white highlights.

As with all new Suzuki passenger vehicle customers, owners of the Special Edition models receive a 2-year/30 000 km service plan and 5-year/200 000 km promotional warranty.
