Phones these days just keep getting bigger and better. But what about those of us who don’t want a huge phone but still want something powerful? Sony has just announced the Xperia Z1 compact, the smaller version of the flagship Xperia Z1.
If you have been following the mobile world, you would have heard of the super cool Xperia Z1. The Xperia Z1 is a great phone and there is nothing negative that I can say about it. The Xperia Z1 features a 5.0 inches screen and is a great size but for those with small hands or pockets, it might be a bit big. I think it is a perfect size though 😉 The whole idea here is that the Z1 is a compact and not a mini. Mini implies that the phone is literally smaller but also not as powerful. For example you have the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the S4 Mini. The Mini version will not have the same processor and other important specs.
The Xperia Z1 Compact is a shrunken down version of the Xperia Z1. In fact it is the same size as my Xperia V. You have the same processor, camera and same build quality but with a smaller screen and battery. This is one of the first phones to be released that is small but still powerful.
