Four class wins in the DEKRA Used Car Report
Stuttgart. In the main inspections by the independent expert organisation DEKRA the B-Class, M-Class, CLS and SLK are the most reliable models in their classes and therefore also the first choice as pre-owned vehicles.
For the Used Car Report 2016 DEKRA analysed approximately 15 million main inspections over a period of two years and rated a total of 474 models in nine vehicle classes plus several special evaluations based on the “DEKRA defect index”. This considers both the proportion of vehicles without relevant defects and the proportion of vehicles with serious defects. For the calculation of the DEKRA defect index the value for “serious defects” is deducted from the percentage value “without relevant defects”. This means that the defects classified as “serious” have a stronger weighting in the evaluation.
