KIA Motors South Africa has renewed its partnership with DSTv for the second instalment of the highly popular Mzansi Viewers Choice Awards. The awards, launched to entertainment media yesterday, aims to acknowledge and celebrate homegrown talent in various entertainment streams, with winners determined entirely through viewers’ votes.
KIA will again sponsor the award for Favourite Rising Star, with this year’s nominees including radio and television presenter Smash Afrika, track and field athlete Luvuyo Manyonga, gqom sensation Distruction Boyz, singer Langa Mavuso and and Proteas cricketer, Lungi Ngidi.
This year, KIA is also sponsoring the award for Favourite Comedian, with nominees including Skhumba, Felix Hlope, Tumi Morake, Smowkey Nyembe and Mpho Popps. Awards for viewers’ favourite song, television presenter, actress, actor, radio personality, music artist/group, DJ, sports personality and overall favourite personality will also be handed out at the gala awards evening, which will take place on 24 November 2018 at the Sandton Convention Centre, and KIA will again be the official vehicle delivering Mzansi’s favourite celebrities to the red carpet.
Voting is now open, can can be done on the Mzansi Magic website, on your mobile through mzansimagic.tv/dstvmvca, or by sending your favourite nominee’s code via SMS to 39201. Voters can also dial *120*33033# and following the menu prompts. One lucky voter will also walk away with a brand new KIA Rio TEC Auto!
