Mark your calendars and clear your first Fridays because Jack Black has announced the return of its Food Truck Fridays, starting on 1 December 2023 and continuing on the first Friday of every month thereafter.
In response to overwhelming requests, Jack Black’s Taproom is ready to welcome back Cape Town’s foodies, beer lovers, and fun-seekers to the ultimate weekend wind-up from 4PM to 10PM. Two of Cape Town’s finest food trucks, Ciao Pizza and Truck Norris, will be dishing up award-winning wood-fired Neapolitan pizza and the best gourmet burgers in Cape Town. In addition, you can expect Jack Black’s famous Land Rover pouring pints, DJs, foosball, beer pong, shuffleboard, and a thrift clothing stall.
Jack Black’s Food Truck Fridays have always been a fan-favourite tradition, and there has been insistent demand for their return. “We receive weekly requests asking when we are going to bring them back,” says Ross McCulloch, co-founder of Jack Black. “It’s a great opportunity for people to try something new and different. Some of the best food in the city often comes from passionate food truck purveyors, and it adds an element of fun and interest to a Friday afternoon.”
