Easter, the most egg-citing chocolate fuelled season is upon us and Cadbury is unveiling its family-oriented Easter Campaign. Following the launch of its latest Easter range – the chocolate brand is set to bring families together with entertaining and interactive activities this Easter.
The new campaign which will engage and reward fans, comes with an intriguing animated TVC and digital series, a fun and interactive digital egg hunt and national Easter egg hunt activations.
“We wanted to create an experience that will be enjoyed by all, young and old. Easter is the perfect time to make memories – from the new range of chocolates, to being captivated by the digital egg hunt, fans will have the best Easter experience this season,” says Grant Van Niekerk, Mondelez SA Category Lead for Chocolate.
The Cadbury Easter tale is told through an eggstra-ordinary animated TV series and features three main characters; Fluffy the bunny, Felix the fox and Squeak the squirrel. The three friends set out on a journey to find Fluffy’s brother, the Easter Chicken and the stolen Easter eggs. Leaving the farm for the first time to go into the city will have its challenges but the trio are determined to save Easter and they are ready for the adventure that awaits.
From a digital perspective, a four-part series starring the full range of Easter characters tells the story of Easter Chicken’s disappearance and the missing Cadbury Easter eggs. It’s up to you to help Fluffy save Easter by finding the clues left by the crooks which are scattered across South Africa. These clues include, audio recordings, torn evidence and puzzles and if your investigative skills lead to the right answers, you stand a chance to win eggstra-ordinary weekly prizes. If you solve the first four clues, a bonus egg hunt will be unlocked which will afford you the chance to win a grand prize: a tailor-made family getaway worth R30 000. Terms and Conditions apply.
There’s something for everyone in the Cadbury Easter basket – family and friends can join in on the fun at the various Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts, in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.
“We’ve created this campaign with the aim of offering our fans a spectacular experience across all channels this Easter,” concludes van Niekerk.
