Global technology brand, HONOR, in partnership with the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), is excited to announce the launch of the 2024 HONOR Talents Global Design Awards. This prestigious competition is a golden opportunity for young, aspiring artists and designers from South Africa to showcase their creativity on a global stage. With over R2 million in total prize money, the competition aims to discover and celebrate exceptional talents, offering them a unique platform to excel.

The competition announcement comes off the back of a meeting between HONOR Charmain and President Cyril Ramaphosa in Shenzhen, China last week where the Chairman highlighted HONOR’s significant achievements in South Africa. This momentous occasion underscores HONOR’s steadfast commitment to global expansion and innovation.
During his address, the Chairman conveyed how HONOR is actively engaged in several impactful initiatives locally, including participation in the Youth Employment Program to create job opportunities for young people, partnering with the NYDA to launch the HONOR Global Youth Program, and collaborating with local NPOs on the “Code with HONOR” program to enhance digital literacy in remote areas and promote digitalization efforts.
