Developed by graduates from the UCT Business School, Ask Nuu is an interactive engagement platform to provide individuals and businesses with the answers to their most pressing, weird, maybe even bizarre questions.
The app provides a Q&A feature, videos, social chat and a later offering of survey questions that can be asked to the community of users locally and globally. Ask Nuu is a community of Individuals and businesses who are willing and keen to help those in need by sharing their experience, expertise or just their day-to-day knowledge.

The community is created and generated by users locally and globally, with the ability to illustrate an individual’s expertise and their videos on the site. This information serves to provide users with a reference point, as to the response given and the accuracy of the response allowing for peace of mind by users.

In a study conducted by Statista, the number of social media users is approximately 26.8 million with usage growth increasing above 36.8 million by 2025. The study illustrated the need and desire for community connections through social media sites and their popularity amongst South Africans.
