The Absa Gaming Festival started on 30 April 2022 and runs for a period of seven weeks. Absa, rAge Expo and ACGL (African Cyber Gaming League) have partnered to bring gamers a high stakes online tournament with R60 000 in cash up for grabs, plus additional giveaways valued at over R50 000.
The Absa Gaming Festival is an opportunity for pro and casual gamers alike to enter the Fortnite, FIFA 22, Apex Legends or the Best Plays competition to compete for a chance to win their share of the prize pool.
“The response to the inaugural Absa Gaming Festival has been very encouraging,” says Christine Wu, Managing Executive for Customer Value Management at Absa Retail and Business Bank. “At Absa, we pride ourselves on constantly leveraging technology to bring possibilities to life for the diverse communities we serve. Against this background, we encourage gamers from all around the country to take advantage of this incredible opportunity to win some really wonderful prizes.”
