I have just spent the evening with Samsung Mobile South Africa at the 2019 Unpacked event where Samsung showed some new devices as well as some devices that are not even available yet. Samsung also showed off some new accessories which was exciting!
In summary, Samsung launched the Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, and S10e and then gave us a sneak peek at their first foldable phone, the Galaxy Fold. We had the chance to actually look at the phone (and hold it) but we were not allowed to bring our phones or take any photos. I will say this, it is life changing. A display that folds that basically has no crease? Very impressive Samsung.
On the accessory side, Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch Active and Galaxy Fit, two new fitness trackers. We also saw Samsung’s most compact Bluetooth earpiece, Samsung Buds.
