Besides Manning being a private chef and creator of Ingredient. He perfected his trade in London’s Michelin-starred restaurants (Pétrus and Marcus), honing his skills under
some of the best in the business; including Gordon Ramsay, Marcus Wareing, Alyn Williams, James Knappet and Bryn Williams.
Upon relocating to Cape Town in 2011, Matt worked at La Colombe before his inherent entrepreneurial spirit led to him embarking on his own venture…and One Ingredient was born.
A well-known media personality, Matt was featured in Women’s Health Most Eligible Bachelors (2015), GQ’s Cool Guys under 35 (2015), GQ’s Game Changers (2016), and regularly appears on local TV screens.
